A managed service is where an external provider such Dr+PC Global manages and assumes responsibility for providing a defined set of services to their clients, both proactively and by demand. In the last few years, Managed Services has seen phenomenal growth and with over 3.5 million licensed customers, it is now the biggest growth sector in IT support internationally.

Pro-Active Connect

Pro-Active Connect is a managed service product designed to provide continuous monitoring and maintenance of servers, workstations, laptops and other intelligent devices on a regular basis. The monitoring agent will also provide online rollouts of software, upgrades and mobile device management.

The Pro-Active Connect managed service will provide the end user with a set amount of hours a month for phone/remote and on-site support. This allows a company to structure an IT budget for support for the year. Monthly reports on service is provided for client review.

On-Call Connect

On-Call Connect is a managed service that provides the corporate clientele with a managed priority response. The On-Call Connect managed service is a pre-paid service that provides a discount on the nominated fee selected. This service can have all the benefits of the Pro-Active Connect managed service without set hours of use per month. This pre-paid service, unlike our competitors, does not have an expiration date. The amount nominated is drawn down only when used for service and will carry on through to the next financial year. Monthly reports on service is provided for client review.

The pro-active system remotely connects and tests all licensed computers on a continuous testing cycle via the host’s broadband connection, if it detects an issue it utilises over 2,500 proprietary scripts to automatically attend to most problems instantly or alert users of any undesirable finds. Pro-active has an unmatched combination of Microsoft certified and expert engineers available to assist with problem solving. Our help desk provides immediate assistance – and in the majority of instances, attends to problems remotely without any need for physical on-site intervention. Where the pro-active Help Desk cannot resolve the problem, we can provide rapid on-site repairs at discounted set rates.
