Standard Terms and Conditions
All pricing inclusive of GST

1. Dr+PC is only obliged to attempt to repair/install the client’s request detailed in their fault description provided to Dr+PC at time of booking.
2. Minimum charge for any workshop services performed, including quotations and no fault situations is 30 minutes labour.
3. Minimum charge will apply for on-site call outs (unless specified in fault description) allowing up to 1 hour of labour at your premises within a 30km radius of the CBD, after which additional charges will be charged in half hour intervals. Refer to www.thedrgroup.com.au for current charge rates.
4. Software (and software configuration), and consumables are not covered by warranty unless stipulated.
5. All hourly charges and block times listed apply from Monday to Friday 8:00am – 6:00pm, excluding public holidays (“normal business hours”). Hourly rates are multiplied by 1.5 for work undertaken and call outs between 6:00pm – 11:00pm Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays (“extended business hours”). Hourly rates are multiplied by 2 for services provided and call outs other than the extended business hours (“after hours” e.g. weekends, public  holidays and beyond extended business hours)
6. A priority service fee will be charged for priority work. Refer to www.thedrgroup.com.au for current charge rates. This fee  will guarantee that the Client’s computer will be ready for collection within 24 hours otherwise the priority service  fee will not be charged. (Excluding computers requiring parts, and rebuilds that require more than 10GB of data to be transferred over.)
7. Telephone calls, travel and other out of pocket expenses to country and remote locations >30kms from CBD will be  charged at cost. Travel will be charged at the applicable travel rates.
8. Proof of purchase must be provided to claim a repair under warranty.
9. Service labour for warranty only includes the labour for the replacement of the part. Any other work will be  chargeable.
10. System warranties are provided by the manufacturer and Dr+PC can log faults on your behalf if required.
11. Dr+PC will not accept responsibility for faults relating to software/hardware* or loss of clients data. * Pre-existing  hardware faults can be discovered/triggered by installation of new hardware and/or stressed bench testing.
12. Dr+PC will not install software that is not licensed to the client or the client cannot prove its legal ownership.
13. Equipment not recovered by the client within 60 days of completion or notification to the client may be sold by Dr+PC and applied to Dr+PC to recover costs without further notification to the client.
14. Dr+PC takes every precaution to protect the integrity of client’s data. However, Dr+PC does not imply or accept  liability in relation to any data loss or corruption that may occur whilst the client’s equipment is in Dr PC’s possession.  We recommend that all data is backed up prior to commencement of any work.
15. If you have not made a recent backup of your data, Dr+PC can provide a backup to you. You will be charged for an external data storage device if provided by Dr+PC. Alternatively, the customer can supply an external device to put their data on and only the labour time to transfer this data will be charged (minimum half hour charge)
16. In the event of a problem with parts or workmanship, Dr+PC must be notified within a reasonable period the client  receiving their job sheet from the technician. It is your responsibility to recheck the computer system within this time  frame; otherwise the warranty may become void. (Onsite labour warranty is available and is charged at a reduced  hourly rate). Please note viruses are not covered under warranty.
17. Data back ups will remain on our servers for a period of 7 days and then deleted. Please ensure correctness of data on your system within this timeframe. Dr+PC cannot guarantee recovery of any data after this period.
18. Somebody over the age of 18 must be present for the duration of the onsite visit. If somebody over the age of 18 is  not present, Dr+PC can at their discretion, elect not to proceed with the work.
19. The work area must meet OH&S standards at all times. If the work area is deemed to not meet OH&S requirements  Dr+PC can at their discretion, elect not to proceed with the work.
20. When Dr+PC performs work on behalf of a third party all the terms and conditions with that third party also apply.
21. Fair use policy applies for any phone/remote support which entitles the customer to up to one (1) hour of phone/remote support per day.

DR+AV

1. Dr+AV is only obliged to perform the services detailed in the service description of the service purchased and provided to Dr+AV at the time of booking.
2. Dr+AV will take reasonable steps to identify the locations of hidden services, such as electrical wiring and plumbing however it will not be responsible for the repair of hidden services that could be damaged in the performance of theirs duties in which the location of these services have not been explicitly identified by the client.
3. A minimum charge will apply for all on-site call outs (unless specified otherwise in the service description) allowing up to 1 hour of labour at your premises within a 30km radius of the city, then and additional charges will be in half hour intervals. Hourly rates are multiplied by 1.5 for work undertaken and call outs between 5:30pm – 11:00pm Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays (“extended business hours”). Hourly rates are multiplied by 2 for services provided and call outs other than the extended business hours (“after hours” e.g. weekends, public holidays and beyond extended business hours)
5. Telephone calls and other out of pocket expenses to country and remote locations > 30kms from CBD will be charged at cost. Travel will be charged at the applicable trip charge rates.
6. Proof of purchase must be provided to claim a repair under warranty.
7. Any claim for warranty is limited to the service and/or parts provided by Dr+AV and does not include service labour if replacement of the part under warranty is required and was provided by a third party.
8. Dr+AV will not accept responsibility for faults relating to hardware or loss of clients configuration details. (*) Pre-existing hardware faults can be discovered / triggered by the installation of new hardware.
9. Dr+AV takes every precaution to protect the integrity of client’s configuration details. However, Dr+AV does not imply or accept liability in relation to any corruption that may occur whilst the client’s equipment is in Dr+AV’s possession.

Depending on the service requested from Dr+AV, Dr+PC and Dr+Telco,  all terms and conditions may be applicable.
